Minneapolis and St Paul LEGO Users Group

What is TwinLUG?

TwinLUG is a growing community of adult fans of LEGO (AFOLs). Whether you collect LEGO, build sets, or build your own creations (MOCs), you are welcome here.

We enjoy gathering regularly to share ideas, show what we're building, offer support, provide resources, participate in LEGO-related activities, and socialize with other people who are interested in LEGO as a hobby. We are also part of the larger worldwide LEGO community, and enjoy showing our own creations in local and national venues as opportunities arise.

Our group is always looking for new members, and we only ask that you be 18 years of age or older.

Meetings

Our group meets almost every 3rd Sunday of the month. A few exceptions happen throughout the year because of holidays and the like. Check our events page for information about our next meeting.

During meetings we discuss the club agenda and any other business, have a monthly build competition, and often have other activities going as well. Otherwise, good old-fashioned talking and discussion of our favorite subject – LEGO. We prefer to be an easy-going and laid-back group.

Connections

In 2009, our group published the Micropolis standard to facilitate group build projects. It has since been used by individuals and groups all around the world to showcase many different ideas and styles of building.

We often work with GMLTC, the Greater Midwest LEGO Train Club, and many of our members belong to both groups.

We also have a public social media presence on Facebook, Flickr, and Instagram.
