What is TwinLUG?

Minneapolis and St Paul LEGO Users Group

TwinLUG is a smaller but steadily growing community that supports any adult fan of LEGO. Whether you collect, build sets or build your own MOCS you are welcome here.

We like to get to gather regularly to share ideas, trade parts, and generally be a part of the larger worldwide LEGO community. We enjoy publicly showing our own creations in local and national venues when the opportunity arises and generally try to provide a local resource for people who are interested in LEGO as a hobby at any level.

Our group meets almost every 3rd Sunday of the month. A few exceptions happen throughout the year because of holidays and the like. Be sure to check the events page for information about the next meeting.

During meetings we discuss the club agenda and any other business, we have a monthly build competition and often have other activities going as well. Then good old fashion talking and discussing our favorite subject Lego.

In 2009, our group published a specification for the Micropolis group build projects that has since been used by individuals and groups all around the world to facilitate an easy way to showcase the different ideas and styles of building inherent to any community.

We often work with GMLTC, the local train club, and many of our members belong to both groups. We are a easy going and laid back, eclectic group.

Our group is always looking for new members, and we only ask that you be 18 years of age or older. To read the rules governing the club, please refer to our Constitution and Bylaws.

Please feel free to join our Facebook Group. We look forward to hearing from you!
